Overview of Exhibition

The 25th Image Sensing Show will be held in juxtaposition with the “16th Symposium on Sensing via Image Information: SSII 2010” hosted by the “Image Sensing Technology Association.” This symposium, joined by over 1,000 participants, is one of the largest domestic conventions on image processing and will discuss the subjects, emphasizing “contributions to the society.” It has been highly evaluated as a symposium where you can come into contact with the up-to-date technologies designed for practical use. The Image Sensing Show exhibits practical image processing products and technologies widely used at the production sites such as appearance inspection and measurement, centering around a machine vision, and a variety of image processing products used in the fields associated with our daily lives such as automobiles, ITS(Intelligent Transport System), security, education, entertainment, service, medicine, and the research and development fields such as the universe, the Earth, sports.

The last year, the Image Sensing Show received about 20,000 visitors, including those participating in the symposium. About 85% of them needed “image processing” in the fields such as machine vision, monitoring, security, ITS(Intelligent Transport System), and medicine, and about 20% of them visited the Show to determine whether to purchase the products. In order to further increase the number of visitors this year, measurement and system integrator zones will be newly set up to invite system integrators capable of proposing the systems to the end-users as well as higher-accuracy measurement methods which could not be covered by image processing alone, thus enhancing the relations between the visitors and exhibitors or between the exhibitors to contribute to expansion of your business opportunity.
