New Image Medium Provided by Fusion
of Video System and Content

Having released a flood of 3D films including “Avatar” which has renewed the box office record, the year 2009 was defined as the “First 3D Year.” With more 3D films waiting to be released this year, I believe the 3D or stereoscopic images will be a more familiar industry becoming a part of our lives. In order to make the 3D images more personal through games and full-scale 3D broadcasting, it is expected to develop and produce various related equipment and devices such as 3D TV sets, Blu-ray, projectors and home video game machines. On the other hand, enrichment of more attractive content is an essential element for development of the 3D industry.

The “New Media Technology 3D Expo. ‘10” is the very site for producing a new image medium out of synergetic development and fusion of the video system and content. Attracting many visitors from different lines of businesses such as image production, information/communication, electronic devices, amusement, public offices/schools, mass media/advertising, this exposition features that about 13% of them have the authority to decide product purchase, and that it brings about more business collaboration among exhibitors.
